Privacy policy
Privacy Policy
This Policy explains, in plain English, exactly what personal information DAILY VITA LABS collects when you browse our store or buy the Ergonomic Memory Foam Seat Cushion or Car Seat Cover Towels, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you hold under the privacy law of Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.
Who is responsible for your data
DAILY VITA LABS is a registered trading name of URBAN CLOTHING PTY LTD, an Australian-registered company. Wherever this Policy says "we", "us" or "DAILY VITA LABS", it means URBAN CLOTHING PTY LTD trading as DAILY VITA LABS. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy, and the party you should contact to exercise any right described below.
This Policy applies to dailyvitalabs.com, to any purchase of the Ergonomic Memory Foam Seat Cushion or Car Seat Cover Towels, and to any other interaction you have with us by email, phone or through our order and support systems. We currently ship to and process personal information for customers in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.
The personal information we collect
We keep collection deliberately narrow. Because our range is two physical comfort products with no accounts, subscriptions or age-restricted goods, the categories of personal information we handle are limited to what is genuinely needed to sell, ship and support those products.
Order & delivery data
Full name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number, collected at checkout to fulfil and ship your order and to send delivery updates.
Payment data
Processed directly by Shopify's PCI DSS-compliant payment infrastructure and the card networks and wallets shown at checkout (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
Account data (optional)
If you choose to create a customer account, we hold your login email, order history and any saved addresses. An account is never required to purchase from us.
Support & communication data
The content of emails, phone calls and messages you send our support team, kept to resolve your enquiry, answer sizing or fit questions, and meet our record-keeping obligations.
Marketing preference data
Your email opt-in or opt-out status and any preferences you set, used only to decide whether and how we may contact you with offers or updates.
Device & usage data
IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site and general location (country or region), collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies described in the Cookies section below.
We do not knowingly collect health information, financial account details beyond what your payment provider processes, government identification numbers, biometric data, or any information from children. We do not ask for or require any of this information to sell you a seat cushion or a car seat cover towel.
How we collect it
Directly from you
When you place an order, create an account, sign up for email updates, submit a request through our Privacy Opt-Out Request Form, or contact our support team.
Automatically, as you browse
Through cookies and similar technologies used by our Shopify storefront, described in full in the Cookies & Advertising section below.
From our service providers
Shopify, our payment gateways and shipping carriers pass back order status, delivery confirmation and, where relevant, fraud-prevention signals connected to your order.
Why we use your information
Every use below is tied to a specific, limited purpose. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Order fulfilment
To process payment, pack, ship and deliver your Ergonomic Memory Foam Seat Cushion or Car Seat Cover Towels, and to send order and shipping confirmations.

To keep our Shopify storefront running, prevent fraud and unauthorised transactions, and diagnose technical issues.
Legal basis: legitimate interestMarketing communications
To send offers, restock notices or product news by email, only if you have opted in, and always with a working unsubscribe link.
Legal basis: consentSite analytics & improvement
To understand which pages and products customers find useful, and to fix errors or improve site performance, using aggregated or pseudonymised data where possible.
Legal basis: legitimate interest / consentLegal & regulatory compliance
To keep tax, accounting and consumer-guarantee records, respond to lawful requests from regulators, and enforce our Terms of Service.
Legal basis: legal obligationCookies and similar technologies
Like almost every Shopify store, dailyvitalabs.com uses cookies and comparable technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to run checkout, remember your cart, and understand how visitors use our site. We group these into four categories:
Strictly necessary
Required for the storefront and checkout to function, such as maintaining your cart and processing payment. These cannot be switched off and are supplied by Shopify.
Functional
Remember preferences such as your selected country, region and currency display, so you don't need to reset them on every visit.
Analytics
Help us understand aggregate site traffic and product page performance, using tools such as Shopify's own analytics and, where enabled, Google Analytics.
Advertising
Where enabled, tools such as Google Ads and Meta may place a pixel or tag to measure the performance of our shopping ads and show you relevant ads based on your visit to our site.
Advertising and remarketing, in plain terms
If we run shopping or search advertising, our advertising partners (which may include Google) may use cookies to measure whether an ad led to a visit or a purchase, and to show you or similar shoppers a future ad for a product you viewed. This is standard conversion tracking and remarketing, not a sale of your personal information.
You can control this at any time through your browser's cookie settings, through Google's Ad Settings, or by submitting an opt-out through our Privacy Opt-Out Request Form.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent checkout from working correctly. Because this Policy is published on a static Shopify policy page, we are not able to embed an interactive cookie-preference banner here; your browser's own privacy controls, and the opt-out form linked throughout this Policy, remain fully effective ways to manage cookies and tracking.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information, in any country we serve.
Shopify (our platform)
Hosts our store, checkout, payment processing and order data, and acts as our data processor under its own merchant terms.
Payment processors
Shop Pay, PayPal and the card networks and digital wallets shown at checkout (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay) process your payment securely; we do not store your full card number.
Shipping & fulfilment partners
Receive your name, address and contact details solely to pack, ship and deliver your order to Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or New Zealand.
Email & marketing platform
Sends order confirmations and, where you have opted in, marketing email, using only your email address and marketing preference status.
Analytics & advertising partners
Where enabled, receive pseudonymised browsing or conversion data (never your name, address or payment details) to measure site performance and advertising, as described in the Cookies section above.
Professional advisers & authorities
Our accountant, legal advisers, or a regulator, court or law enforcement body, but only where reasonably necessary and, wherever possible, limited to what is legally required.
Every third party listed above is only permitted to use your personal information to provide the specific service described, and is bound by its own contractual, legal or platform-level confidentiality obligations. If URBAN CLOTHING PTY LTD is ever involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of business assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy continuing to apply to it.
International data transfers
We are based in Queensland, Australia, and we sell into Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand. Our Shopify infrastructure, payment processors and other service providers may store or process personal information in countries other than your own, including Australia, the United States, Canada and the European Union.
Where personal information originating in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area is transferred outside those regions, we rely on our service providers' own recognised safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent standard contractual clauses, to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.
How long we keep your data
We keep order and transaction records for as long as required by tax and accounting law in the country the sale was made in, generally between five and seven years. Marketing preference data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve your matter and meet consumer-guarantee obligations, then deleted or anonymised on a routine schedule.
How we protect your data
All transactions are encrypted in transit and processed through Shopify's PCI DSS-compliant payment infrastructure. Access to customer information within URBAN CLOTHING PTY LTD is limited to the small team who need it to fulfil orders and provide support. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we continually review our practices as our business grows.
Children's privacy
DAILY VITA LABS sells general home, office and automotive comfort accessories and is not directed at, marketed to, or intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@dailyvitalabs.com and we will delete it promptly.
Marketing communications and how to opt out
We only send marketing email if you have opted in, and every marketing message includes a working unsubscribe link that is honoured promptly. Order confirmations, shipping updates and responses to your enquiries are transactional and will continue regardless of your marketing preference, because they relate to a purchase you have made.

California notice at collection
This section is provided specifically for California residents under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, and describes the categories of personal information we have collected about California consumers in the preceding 12 months.
Purpose of collection
The categories above are collected solely to fulfil orders, provide customer support, operate our website securely, and, where you have not opted out, to measure and deliver advertising.
Retention
Retained only as long as necessary for the purpose collected or as required by law, as described in the Retention section above.
Your California rights
Right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing and limit use of sensitive personal information, exercised free of charge and without discrimination through our opt-out form or by contacting us directly.
Your choices, in one place
Rather than a separate form on this page, every request — opting out of sale or sharing, opting out of targeted advertising, unsubscribing from marketing, or accessing, correcting or deleting your data — is handled through a single place: our Privacy Opt-Out Request Form. No account is required, it is free of charge, and our Queensland-based team actions it directly, typically within 1–2 business days.
You can also email support@dailyvitalabs.com or call +61 479 095 200 with the same request and we will handle it just the same.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time as our product range, service providers or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention, such as a notice on our homepage or an email to registered customers.
Contact us about your privacy
Every privacy question or request is answered directly by our Queensland-based support team, not an anonymous ticketing system.
